The second dekad of agrometeorological bulletin for July, 2019 is presented in this edition. Significant rainfall amount were observed across most parts of the country and the highest rainfall total of (265.3mm) was reported in Asaba. The country recorded between 4-9 rain-days. The highest mean maximum and minimum day time temperatures ranged between 33.60C at Maiduguri to 24.80C around Jos. The soil moisture condition reveals that Katsina, Maiduguri, Lokoja and Osogbo experienced below-normal soil moisture condition while other parts of the country had normal to-above-normal soil moisture condition. The InterTropical Discontinuity (ITD) is expected to oscillate mean value of 18.00N. Harvesting of tubers and vegetables are still ongoing across the country.
