Agro-meteorological Bulletin No.4, Dekad 1, February (01-10) 2018

The agro meteorological bulletin for 1st dekad of February, 2018 shows an increase in dryness from the north down to the Central cities. The rainfall anomalies shows most parts of the country experienced below normal rainfall anomalies except some parts of the central down to the south inland and coast where normal to above normal rainfall anomalies were observed.

Agrometeorological Bulletin No.3, Dekad 3, January (21 –31) 2018

The third dekad of the agrometeorological bulletin for January, 2018 is presented in this edition. No rainfall was recorded across the country. The day time mean maximum temperature ranged from 27.70C (over Kano) to 36.20C (over Abakaliki).

The agrometeorological bulletin for second dekad of January, 2018 shows only Owerri recorded 15.1mm of rainfall amount on day 11th of the dekad. Most parts of the country experienced normal to below normal rainfall anomalies except Owerri that had above normal rainfall anomalies.

Agrometeorological Bulletin No. 01, Dekad 1, January (01 –10) 2018

The 1st dekad of January, 2018 agrometeorological bulletin shows no rainfall data recorded during the dekad. The highest maximum temperature was recorded at Abakaliki (35.10C) while, the lowest mean minimum temperature across the country was observed at Usi-Ekiti (9.40C).

The third dekad of December, 2017 shows slight increase in rainfall distribution and amount across the southern states of the country when compared with the preceding dekad the highest rainfall amount was recorded at Eket (42.6mm).

Agrometeorological Bulletin No.35, Dekad 2, December (11 –20) 2017

The 2nd dekad of agrometeorological bulletin of December, 2017 is presented in this edition. The country recorded an increase in rainfall amount across the South when compare with the preceding dekad while the northern cities had no rainfall except Abuja.

Agro-meteorological Bulletin No.34, Dekad 1, December (1-10) 2017

The first dekad of December, 2017 shows a continuous reduction in rainfall distribution and decrease in rainfall total across the southern states of the country when compared with the preceding dekad and the highest rainfall amount was recorded at Ijebu-Ode (16.2mm).

The agrometeorological bulletin for 3rd dekad of November, 2017 shows an increase in dryness across the country following the cessation of rains across the north and central states . The rainfall distribution showed reduction (1-4) of rain-days over the south east inland and coast.

The second dekad of November, 2017 shows a continuous reduction in rainfall distribution and slight increase in rainfall total across few stations in the southern states of the country when compared with the first dekad and the highest rainfall total was recorded at Calabar (110.2mm).

The agrometeorological bulletin for 1st dekad of November, 2017 shows a continuous reduction in rainfall amount when compared with the previous dekad and the highest rainfall total was recorded at Awka (90.1mm).
